So a few weeks ago I was driving back to my apartment and caught this mural out of the corner of my eye. It was so pretty and colorful I knew I would have to come back and take some pictures there. It's kind of in an odd place down an alley off downtown on the side of a little coffee shop! I love stumbling across cute new places that I can add to the site! Anyways, I plan on keeping the site updated more. I've been super busy between work and school so it's been hard to find the time to add more content, but with break coming up there will be lots more to come!
First off I have to speak about these boots, because I am very much in love with them. I got them at Nordstrom last Winter and I was just as excited to wear them this season as I was last season. As I said in the last post, I'm usually iffy about super high boots because I'm so short and I don't want them to swallow up my legs. But as long as I wear these with the right pants and top, they really seem to make my legs look longer which I will not argue with!
The colors on this wall are so beautiful and it makes me so happy just looking at it! I find it so interesting that art and fashion are able to inspire each other through the vision of many different individuals. I could probably ramble on about inspirations and innovation for who knows how long, but it's something to think about before getting dressed every day. I know whenever I'm going to a place or event, I think about what theme I want to portray. Whether it's from a certain culture, time period, celebrity etc., the idea has to come from somewhere!
I'm pretty excited for the next few months. With New Years so close, all the furs, sparkles, pretty dresses and jewel tones are emerging!!! I already have my NYE outfit picked out thanks to cyber Monday (: Also as a side note, if you are looking for a nice Christmas gift or just a new piece to add to your wardrobe, don't forget 20% off your whole order at Mirina's Collections with the code: sydneyxo20 ! Keep your eyes peeled for a post on their line as well!
